Envatio Tuts+ commissioned me to do a series of videos on design theory. It has long been one of my goals to bring the content I was teaching at SCAD to a wider audience. From the story board stage I focused on communicating the concepts visually as much as possible. I also wanted to use touchstone works like Andy Warhol's Marylin Monroe portraits to provide examples that as many designers as possible would be familiar with.
