In early 2023 I pitched a series of videos to Envato Tuts+ that would focus on design theory. Like my design elements videos on my own channel, the videos were intended to give viewers the kind of information they might receive in a college design course. In addition to the long-form videos, Envato also commissioned shorts like this.

This video discusses the principle of economy with respect to a simple combination of the font Futura and a red rectangle. The motif has proven particularly compelling, first as a core element in Barbara Kruger's work, then later as a Supreme's brand.
